Privacy Policy

How WordForge Legends collects, uses, and protects information when you play.

This Privacy Policy explains how Vebora ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information in connection with the WordForge Legends mobile application (the "App"), available on Google Play. This policy is intended to comply with the Google Play Developer Program Policies, including the User Data policy and Families/Ads requirements where applicable. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Information We Collect

WordForge Legends is built to work with minimal data collection. We do not require account creation, and we do not knowingly collect your name, email address, or other directly identifying information through the App itself. Depending on your device, permissions, and settings, the following categories of information may be processed:

  • Gameplay data: level progress, scores, streaks, coins/hints, and in-app settings, stored locally on your device (and, if you enable cloud save through your Google Play Games account, synced via Google's servers).
  • Device and app information: device model, operating system and version, language, app version, and general (non-precise) region derived from IP address, used for compatibility, analytics, and troubleshooting.
  • Advertising identifiers: your Android Advertising ID (AAID) and related identifiers, collected by our advertising partner (Google AdMob) to serve and measure ads. See Section 2 below.
  • Diagnostic and performance data: crash logs, ANRs (app-not-responding events), and performance metrics, used to identify and fix bugs.

WordForge Legends does not currently offer any in-app purchases, subscriptions, or paid features. The App is entirely free to play and is supported solely by AdMob advertising.

We do not collect precise (GPS-level) location, contacts, photos, microphone, or camera data, and the App does not request permissions for these unless a specific feature explicitly requires it and asks for your consent at that time.

2. Advertising (Google AdMob)

WordForge Legends is free to play and supported by ads served through Google AdMob, a service provided by Google LLC. To deliver, personalize, and measure ads, AdMob and its advertising partners may collect and process:

  • Advertising identifiers (such as the AAID) and device information;
  • General location derived from IP address (not precise GPS location);
  • App usage and interaction data related to ads (impressions, clicks, and engagement);
  • Information used for frequency capping (limiting how often you see the same ad) and fraud prevention.

AdMob may serve personalized (interest-based) ads or non-personalized ads depending on your region, consent choices, and device settings. Where required by applicable law (for example, in the European Economic Area and UK), we request your consent for personalized advertising through an in-app consent prompt before any such processing occurs, using Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) or an equivalent consent management tool.

3. How We Use Information

  • To operate, maintain, and provide core gameplay features, including saving your progress.
  • To display, personalize, and measure the performance of advertising through AdMob.
  • To monitor app stability, diagnose crashes, and fix bugs.
  • To analyze aggregated, non-identifying usage trends in order to improve levels, features, and the overall game experience.
  • To detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, or abuse.
  • To comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not use the information described above to build advertising profiles of our own outside of what is processed by Google AdMob on our behalf, and we do not use gameplay data for any purpose unrelated to operating and improving the App.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes. We may share limited information with the following categories of recipients, solely to operate, support, and improve the App:

  • Google AdMob — for serving and measuring in-app advertising.
  • Google Play services — for app distribution, licensing, cloud save (if enabled), and basic analytics.
  • Crash/analytics tooling (e.g., Firebase Crashlytics or similar) — for identifying and resolving technical issues.
  • Legal and safety purposes — if required to comply with a legal obligation, enforce our Terms of Use, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Vebora, our users, or the public.
  • Business transfers — if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to the protections described in this policy.

Any third-party service provider that processes data on our behalf is only permitted to use it to provide services to us and is required to protect it consistent with this policy and applicable law.

5. Data Retention

Locally stored gameplay data remains on your device until you clear the App's data or uninstall the App. Diagnostic and advertising-related data collected by our service providers is retained only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, in accordance with each provider's own retention practices (see Google's policies linked in Section 2).

6. International Data Transfers

Our service providers, including Google, operate data centers and infrastructure in multiple countries. As a result, information processed in connection with the App may be transferred to, stored, and processed in countries other than your own, which may have different data protection laws. Where required, such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards required under applicable law.

7. Your Rights and Choices

  • Ad personalization: you can opt out of personalized advertising or reset your Advertising ID at any time in your Android device settings, or via Google Ads Settings.
  • Local data: you can clear the App's local data or uninstall the App at any time, which removes gameplay data stored on your device.
  • Access, correction, deletion: if applicable data protection law (such as the GDPR or CCPA/CPRA) grants you rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your information, you may contact us using the details in Section 10 to make such a request. We will respond in accordance with applicable law.
  • Do Not Sell/Share: we do not sell personal information as defined under applicable U.S. state privacy laws.
  • Consent withdrawal: where processing is based on your consent (for example, personalized ads in certain regions), you may withdraw that consent at any time through the in-app consent tool or your device settings, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

8. Children's Privacy

WordForge Legends has broad, casual appeal and can be enjoyed by players of most ages, but it is not specifically designed for, marketed to, or directed at children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and it is not listed under Google Play's Designed for Families program. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and advertising is not configured to treat users as children. If the App is listed under Google Play's Families program, ad serving and data collection are configured to comply with the Google Play Families Policy and applicable laws such as COPPA, including restrictions on personalized advertising to children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at the email below so we can promptly investigate and delete such information as appropriate.

9. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information processed in connection with the App against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your continued use of the App after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
